Along with Ward Cleaver and Ranger Ricks, Dr. Alex Stone (
The Donna Reed Show) is one of TV's most fondly remembered DILF's. Carl Betz, who played Dr. Stone, is probably better known as Clinton Judd on
Judd for the Defense. He worked steadily in television before dying young of cancer in 1978.
Betz didn't appear shirtless often, but even clothed he cut a fine figure, and he remained in good shape throughout his career, looking as good, if not better, on Judd as he did on Donna Reed.

Just finished watching a donna reed show episode on METV & thought I'd google Carl's name....thanx, some gr8 pics....always had a crush on him since I was a kid!
ReplyDeleteCarl Betz was THE epitome of a masculine, virile and extremely fit man on
ReplyDeletetelevision. It was always a pleasure viewing him on the various programs.
Too bad that there were not that many scenes in which he was able to
go shirtless and display that manly physique.
.
Another hot man was THE best, namely Clint Walker. He was a real tall, hairy
and well built man. I always looked forward to watching him in the 1950s
show ''Cheyenne''. His deep voice, along with his extremely good looks all
added up to ALL MAN.
What a great looking man. Whatching these men from the 1950's is so refreshing. Real men with real bodies. And they had character.
